Elon Musk Reacts to FEMA’s Inability to Help Hurricane Victims Despite Spending Millions on Illegals, Shreds ‘Diabolically Smart’ Dem Plot to ‘Disenfranchise’ Voters

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is facing a severe funding shortfall, leaving thousands of American hurricane victims without assistance.

This crisis comes to light after the agency spent over $1 billion on housing support for illegal migrants over the past two years; a report that has left prominent voices like Elon Musk incredibly stunned and outraged.

One furious X user asked, “What kind of government lets FEMA spend $640,000,000.00 on criminal illegal aliens in 2024 and now has no money to help Americans who lost everything from Hurricane Helene?” to which Musk replied, “Good question.”

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas made the startling admission on Wednesday, stating, “FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season.”

This announcement comes on the heels of Congress passing a $20 billion funding bill for the anticipated hurricane season just last week, per Daily Mail.

The urgency of the situation has been amplified by the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene, which tore through Appalachia and the South, claiming nearly 200 American lives.

With 150,000 citizens reaching out for federal assistance due to home damage, FEMA’s inability to respond has sparked outrage among lawmakers and citizens alike.

Musk, who has routinely blasted Democrats over their not-so-secret plot to “create a permanent one-party state” through illegal immigration, sounded the alarm over this “diabolically smart” move on X yet again all throughout Thursday afternoon.

In one scathing post, Musk said, “[Democrats] are literally using YOUR tax dollars to import voters and disenfranchise you!”

“It is happening right in front of your eyes,” he added. “And FEMA used up its budget ferrying illegals into the country instead of saving American lives. Treason.”

Musk would later clarify his stance on immigration by stating, “I am very much in favor of expedited legal immigration for anyone who is talented, hardworking and honest.”

“America should be like a pro sports team that wants to win the championship – draft the best players to enable the whole team to win!”

Texas Governor Greg Abbott voiced his frustration on social media, demanding, “Mayorkas and FEMA — immediately stop spending money on illegal immigration resettlement and redirect those funds to areas hit by the hurricane. Put Americans first.”

Daily Mail reported that the controversy stems from FEMA’s allocation of funds to support migrants, including $640 million earmarked for the 2024 fiscal year.

This spending has come under intense scrutiny, with critics arguing that these resources should be redirected to aid Americans affected by natural disasters.

The outlet further noted that Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody criticized the agency’s priorities, stating, “They have taken the FEMA emergency food and shelter program and over time siphoned off hundreds of millions of dollars into basically making it an illegal immigrant resettlement program.”

At the heart of the debate is FEMA’s Shelter and Service Program (SSP), created in 2023 to provide funds for non-citizen migrants.

The program’s budget nearly doubled from $363.8 million in 2023 to $650 million in 2024, raising questions about the agency’s focus and resource allocation.

Republican lawmakers have been vocal in their criticism.

Rep. Eric Burlison of Missouri summed up the sentiment: “Mayorkas says FEMA doesn’t have enough money to make it through hurricane season, but apparently it had enough to spend $1B resettling illegal aliens into the U.S. over the past few years. That’s the Biden/Harris admin summed up in a nutshell. They put Americans last, always.”

As FEMA grapples with its financial constraints, Mayorkas assured that immediate needs are being met with available funds. However, with another hurricane expected, concerns are mounting about the agency’s ability to respond effectively to future disasters.

The situation has reignited debates about immigration policy and disaster preparedness, with many calling for a reevaluation of FEMA’s priorities.

Musk, who has thrown his vote behind Donald Trump, has said that America as we all know it is over if the Republican presidential hopeful is not elected in November.
