This is a breaking news alert…
Joe Biden appears to have changed his mind.

Here is the statement released by Joe Biden trying to explain it away:
FULL TRANSCRIPT:
Today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter. From the day I took office, I said I| would not interfere with the Justice Department’s decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly; prosecuted. Without aggravating factors like use in a crime, multiple purchases, or buying a weapon as a straw purchaser, people are almost never brought to trial on felony charges solely for how they filled out a gun form.
Those who were late paying their taxes because of serious addictions, but paid them back subsequently with interest and penalties, are typically given non-criminal resolutions.
It is clear that Hunter was treated differently.
The charges in his cases came about only after several of my political opponents in Congress instigated them to attack me and oppose my election.
Then, a carefully negotiated plea deal, agreed to by the Department of Justice. unraveled in the court room – with a number of my political opponents in Congress taking credit for bringing political pressure on the process. Had the plea deal held, it would have been a fair, reasonable resolution of Hunter’s Cases-
No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter’s cases can reach any other conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because he is my son – and that is wrong. There has been an effort to break Hunter – who has been five and a half years sober, even in the face of unrelenting attacks and selective prosecution. In trying to break Hunter, they’ve tried to break me – and there’s no reason to believe it will stop here. Enough is enough.
For my entire career I have followed a simple principle: just tell the American people the truth. They’ll be fair-minded. Here’s the truth: I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice – and once I made this decision this weekend, there was no sense in delaying it further. I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision.
Earlier today, Joe Biden told NBC News that he would be issuing a pardon for Hunter:
MTG said what we’re all thinking right now:

NBC News confirmed:
Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter Sunday night, a reversal for the president, who repeatedly said he would not use his executive authority to pardon his son or commute his sentence.
“I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice — and once I made this decision this weekend, there was no sense in delaying it further. I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision,” Biden said in a statement issuing a “full and unconditional pardon.”
Hunter Biden is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 12 for his conviction on federal gun charges. He also is set to be sentenced on Dec. 16 in a separate criminal case in which he pleaded guilty to federal tax evasion charges in September.
A senior White House official told NBC News, which was the first to report on the pardon decision, that the president decided over the weekend to grant his son a pardon and began to inform his senior aides Sunday.
The president also spoke about his son’s struggles with addiction in his statement Sunday night, saying that his political opponents were trying to “break” him by going after Hunter.
“No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter’s cases can reach any other conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because he is my son — and that is wrong,” Biden said in his statement. “There has been an effort to break Hunter — who has been five and a half years sober, even in the face of unrelenting attacks and selective prosecution. In trying to break Hunter, they’ve tried to break me — and there’s no reason to believe it will stop here. Enough is enough.”
Remember this?
Remember all the times they assured us over and over that he would NOT pardon Hunter Biden?
All lies.
Let’s take a walk down Memory Lane with this supercut:
I guess that’s all out the window now!
Here is the actual Pardon as posted to WhiteHouse.gov:

I thought this video raises a great question….
Many people assumed IF Joe Biden did this, that he would also pardon President Trump just to “even the scales” and try to restore faith and confidence in the justice system in our Country.
Very interesting he has not done that, yet.
Will he?
I doubt it.
Watch here:
It’s official—Hunter Biden has been pardoned by Joe Biden, just a couple of months before Donald Trump is expected to take office in seven weeks. Remember, Hunter Biden was found guilty of gun-related charges and pled guilty to tax-related charges. He was expected to receive his punishment over the next few weeks. Joe Biden had previously told us that he would not pardon his son, Hunter—that instead, he would let the justice system work the way it was expected to work.
Now, this pardoning comes before any kind of imposition of punishment, so there shouldn’t have to be a commutation because there is no sentence yet. Since the pardon happened before sentencing, it’s interesting because a lot of people had suggested that if Joe Biden were to pardon Hunter Biden, he should also pardon Donald Trump—just to sort of normalize relations, perhaps a bit. Obviously, that theoretically could still happen, but it has not.
Right now, this is only about the Hunter Biden pardon. Again, it was expected not to occur, and now it comes just the day before Cyber Monday. It comes on a Sunday night, and there’s not actually a lot of news right now. So it’s surprising they didn’t wait for a busier news time. Usually, they wait for more of a busy news cycle—like, I don’t know, Israel strikes or something—that way they can kind of bury the news. But there’s not a lot of news going on right now, so they’re just letting the world know: it’s over.
This is a stunning move. Now, keep in mind, tomorrow is Cyber Monday, which means there is a coupon price change. I’m going back to the hotel, and I’m going to change that pricing. I’ve got a few more hours here, and then, once I’m done here doing some groundwork, we are moving to change those prices. So check that out over at meetkevin.com if you want to be part of that Trumponomics course.
Remember what you’re getting in that Trumponomics course and the Trumponomics group. You’re getting Trump-style real estate insights, branding insights, marketing insights. You’re getting stock, crypto, and options alerts. You’re getting everything that’s going to align you for 2025 current policy expectations. But also, when policy comes out, we’ll be going through the actual policy and updating the program.
The Trumponomics course comes out on the 17th. I’m going to work on getting every course member live stream access before that, but it’ll probably take me about a week to get that out. Anyway, with that said, this is a surprise move. I wanted to provide that update right away. It is going to lead to reactions from Donald Trump for Joe Biden flip-flopping. It is going to lead to criticisms of Joe Biden, but frankly, at this point:
A. It shouldn’t really be a surprise, even though it’s a surprise.
B. This is all just going to get swept under the rug.
Without a pardon of Trump, I do think there’s a chance that it’s actually going to increase tensions between Democrats and Republicans. This is exactly the sort of concern Republicans have had during the election campaign—that there’s sort of been a two-tier justice system where the justice system can be weaponized against your enemies but then used to defend your allies.
This is adding fuel to that fire, and that’s why, again, a lot of people were calling for a balanced move by responding with a pardon to Trump. Maybe that will still come, but given that they didn’t announce it at the same time, I don’t know. So, let’s see what happens.
Anyway, thanks for watching. Good day.
