‘F***ing B*tch’: Zelensky Appears To CURSE JD Vance (in Ukrainian) During Oval Office Smackdown

SHARE

There is a somewhat lesser reported moment that occurred during yesterday’s now infamous Oval Office smackdown.

While the top story was without a doubt Volodymyr Zelensky’s verbal thrashing at the hands of President Trump and Vice President JD Vance, something caught my attention that could prove pivotal as the situation plays out.

Before the full press conference and lavish lunch in the White House was cancelled, and before Zelensky and his entourage were shown the door and kicked out of the White House (apparently as they pleaded to stay)…

Zelensky seemingly cursed JD Vance, right in the Oval Office, under his breath!

Though, it did not escape the eyes of the cameras or the room full of audio microphones.

It should have been obvious to Zelensky that he was already skating on thin ice the moment he stumbled out of his motorcade and instantly became the butt of a joke by the President of the United States.

President Trump immediately joked that Zelensky was “all dressed up today”.

And then to make sure the media caught the joke, he said it again — LOUDER — for the cameras!

If Zelensky didn’t take that as his cue that he was already on shaky ground with President Trump, I’m not sure what could have gotten the message across.

But like watching a bad train wreck in slow motion, things went from bad to worse.

And in the middle of that explosive exchange in the Oval Office, Zelensky did what I contend could actually turn out to be the true “nail in the coffin” moment.

Once President Trump and JD Vance realize what Zelensky said under his breath, ostensibly directed right at the VP — WHILE SITTING IN THE OVAL OFFICE — I’m not sure a thousand apologies will suffice.

He may have irrevocably damned his entire nation to the trash bin of history with his lack of humility and stubborn presumption.

Here’s a clip of the moment I’m talking about:

The reality of what Zelensky said is actually worse than that video makes it seem — though I dare say that would have been bad enough.

You can’t sit in the Oval Office with the President and Vice President, utter vulgarities at the VP, and expect things to go well for you!

But, like I said, it’s worse than just the “B” word.

He actually uttered the Russian-Urkanian phrase “suka blyat”, which admittedly has multiple possible translations depending on the context.

But used together, directed at a person, the translation is as follows:

Precisely ZERO of the mainstream media has picked up on this slight, and only a very small handful of independent news has thus far carried the story.

The Times of India, for example, is reporting on the vulgarity.  But they are reporting that he simply uttered “Suka”, which simply means “B*tch” when used alone.

And when not directed at a person, it is simply a vulgar way to express extreme frustration.

Here’s the Times of India reporting on the video of the incident, which they imply could have been manipulated to seem as though he said it when he did not:

A visibly exasperated Volodymyr Zelenskyy apparently muttered a cuss word at US Vice President JD Vance during the unprecedented argument at the Oval Office, claimed social media users citing a viral video.

It is not, however, confirmed whether Zelenskky actually said anything or whether the viral video was a manipulated one. According to social media claims, Zelenskyy called Vance “cyka” (suka), which in English translates to b***ch.

During the heated argument, Zelenskyy asked JD Vance to come to Ukraine and see what was happening there. Vance said he had been there and seen the stories. It was at that time that the video showed Zelenskyy muttering something. Some social media users claimed he did not say anything and the word was overlayed onto the video.

I can tell you that I checked dozens of videos, and he did in fact say the full phrase, not just the single word which can translate to “b*tch”.

And it very much appears to me that it was directed squarely at JD Vance in anger.

Again, it was only a week ago that JD Vance made it publicly clear that Zelensky was on thin ice.

Which makes TWO times (at least) that the Ukrainian leader should have taken a hint!

Here’s what JD Vance said at CPAC about the way Zelensky was treating President Trump:

If Zelensky had paid attention to either President Trump or VP Vance’s statements throughout the week, he would have known better than to come swaggering into the Oval Office with his arrogant sense of entitlement.

Maybe then he wouldn’t have had his White House lunch thrown to the Press Pool…

Or had his entire entourage unceremoniously kicked out — without any formality usually attached to the exiting of a Head of State from the White House front door.

There are, as I stated, alternative translations to the phrase Zelensky muttered.

But none of them are “good”.

And the verdict among the majority of Ukrainian social media users is that he did, in fact, cuss the Vice President while sitting in the Oval Office, according to a report from the Western Journal:

According to a 2018 Dictionary.com explication of the term “cyka blyat”– which is what he appears to have said, and is used by both Ukrainians and Russians — there’s not a literal translation, although it’s something you wouldn’t use in front of your mother were you in that part of the world.

The vulgarity, which rose to popularity in online gaming culture (so seldom a good sign when you’re a world leader uttering it during a media briefing gone horribly wrong), is basically “roughly equivalent to the English “f***ing s***” or “b**** w****.” There are other potential definitions (duly asterisked above), but the point is that this usually isn’t what you trot out to media briefings. And, while it’s entirely possible this isn’t what he said, the reaction on social media from the Ukrainosphere seems to be that, yeah, this is definitely what he uttered.

As wild as it was to watch this play out on social media and the news reports coming out of the Press Pool…

I can’t imagine what it would have been like to be in the room.

I’m sure this is the sort of back-and-forth that happens all the time behind closed doors, during negotiations.

But this wasn’t intended to be a time of negotiation!

This Oval Office moment was intended to be a simple formality, showing the leaders sitting down together in the President’s seat of power — so to speak.

Check out this report from News Nation, talking to Faith Pinho, an LA Times reporter who was in the room at the time:

President Trump apparently got together immediately following the Oval Office incident with several key people.

The decision was then made to put any “deal” on hold, and kick the Ukranians out of the White House early.

It’s bad enough when you get kicked out of the White House.

It’s even worse when CNN does such a good job narrating the story of what happened.

It’s not every day that I lean heavily on CNN for a story… but just check out this synopsis of the way the Ukranian delegation was kicked out, according to CNN!

A rattled Ukrainian delegation — including the Ukrainian ambassador to Washington Oksana Markarova, who stopped taking notes during the meeting and simply placed her head in her hands — left the Oval Office to regroup in the Roosevelt Room, just down the hall.

Huddling with his own key advisers to assess the situation, including Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Trump was enraged, saying he felt disrespected by Zelensky’s tone.

“Zelensky played it as wrong as he could play it. He came into Oval acting like a tough guy. It didn’t play well. Everyone in the room felt insulted,” one US official said. “Now Zelensky will have to figure out how to fix this on his own. We can’t fix it for him.”

The president ultimately decided that Zelensky was “not in a place to negotiate,” one White House official said. He directed Rubio and national security adviser Mike Waltz to deliver the message to the Ukrainians who were waiting nearby: It was time for Zelensky to leave.

“Time is not on your side here,” Waltz told Fox News on Saturday, recounting his conversation with Zelensky. “Time is not on your side on the battlefield. Time is not on your side in terms of the world situation, and, most importantly, US aid and the taxpayers’ tolerance is not unlimited.”

The Ukrainians protested, saying they wanted to continue the talks, the White House official said. But the request was declined.

As the plates of salad, chicken and crème brûlée that had been planned for lunch sat uneaten on carts in a hallway outside the press secretary’s office, the Ukrainians were instructed to leave.

The surreal day of broken diplomacy unfolded in the span of less than three hours.

Zelensky’s motorcade left the White House gates at 1:42 p.m., with no fanfare or sendoff. He was driven a short distance away to the Hay Adams Hotel, where he and his advisers were staying.

From what I can tell, the vulgarities uttered by Zelensky in the direction of JD Vance has not been picked up by any media to speak of.

Though I have to assume that the President’s team is thorough enough to have alerted him, by this time, of Zelensky’s bold use of Ukrainian expletives.

What was already obvious about his behavior in the White House didn’t go over well.

I can only imagine how angry President Trump will be when he realizes Zelensky called his own VP something along the lines of a “F***ing B*tch” while seated with them in the Oval Office.

It is almost impossible to overstate how big of a disrespectful gesture that really was, if you include that utterance in your calculations of the day’s events.

I want to add to the evidence a very good video dive into the issue of Zelensky’s apparent use of vulgarity during the meeting by YouTube’s State of Daniel.

He also goes into Lindsey Graham’s reaction to the Oval Office dust-up, including Graham’s statement that he WARNED Zelensky not to get into an argument with President Trump.

It doesn’t get much worse than that.

As State of Daniel’s video response touched on, not only did the Ukrainian Ambassador put her head in her hands during Zelensky’s terrible missteps…

But even on CNN, Christiane Amanpour had her head in her hands after watching this exchange.

And that’s even WITHOUT realizing that Zelensky called JD Vance a “F***ing B*tch” during the meeting!

So while the dust settles, and Zelensky returns to the European continent in order to try to prove that he isn’t losing the support of NATO…

There may be more being discussed behind closed doors at the White House today besides what the media has so far fixated on.

As President Trump has stated during and since the incident, it’s hard to make a deal with someone who obviously isn’t ready to make peace.

But it’s also hard to make a deal with someone who calls you a “F***ing B*tch” to your face, in front of cameras (including Ukrainian press who will have known what he said), while feigning civility and good faith.

When all is said and done, it may be that the Ukrainian’s vulgar outburst under his breath is seen as the frustrated manifestation of a man who is very accustomed to getting his way…

And not at all accustomed to being put in his place, much less being kicked out of the White House.

Maybe he’ll learn to watch his language when there are adults in the room.
