Judge Jeanine Takes Down Highest Ranking US Military Commander with Federal Conviction!
Judge Jeanine, now known as US Attorney Jeanine, is getting to work fast as part of the Trump Administration’s promised focus on rooting out corruption.
She has already announced a HUGE CONVICTION in a defense bribery case that is sending big signals to military brass — if you break the law, justice will find you.
It was a mere 5 days ago that she was sworn in as President Trump’s choice to fill the US Attorney position in the Washington DC federal district:

And she’s proving she’s just as tough as ever.
It is very likely that ex-Navy Admiral Robert Burke will do PRISON TIME for corruption, thanks in part to Judge (now Prosecutor…) Jeanine.
Not only was Admiral Burke at one time the 2nd highest ranking officer in the United States Navy.
But he is now the highest ranking US military Commander to every be convicted of a federal crime.
That is sending a clear message to everyone in Washington DC just how serious the Trump Administration is on FINISHING the job — draining the swamp, and restoring equal justice under the law to this nation.

The bribery scheme that led to retired Admiral Burke’s conviction, ironically, is something that President Trump was sounding the alarm on YEARS ago.
The President was pushing for a ban on U.S. military officials involved in defense contracts from going to work as defense contractors after their service time as early as 2016!
And that’s EXACTLY the situation that Adm. Burke was just convicted of – taking a job that was promised as later payment for making sure a defense contract got approved by that same company.
Check out this report from a story quoting President Trump’s stance on that from 8 years ago, according to Reuters:
U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Friday said he was considering imposing a lifetime ban on U.S. military procurement officials going to work for defense contractors, a move that could dramatically reshape the defense industry.
“I think anybody that gives out these big contracts should never ever, during their lifetime, be allowed to work for a defense company, for a company that makes that product,” Trump said. “I don’t know, it makes sense to me.”
Trump said such a ban would make “a big, big difference because the purchasing in this country is out of control, for everything, not only military.”
The president-elect’s idea was met with deep skepticism within the U.S. defense establishment.
If his first term hadn’t been spent fighting the RINOs and subversive elements that embedded themselves in his own Administration…
This corruption might not even be POSSIBLE anymore!
Surprise, surprise: President Trump was right again.
US Attorney Jeanine Pirro had this to say on her X account after successfully prosecuting Admiral Burke:
When you abuse your position and betray the public trust to line your own pockets, it undermines the confidence in the government you represent. Our office, with our law enforcement partners, will root out corruption – be it bribes or illegal contracts – and hold accountable the… https://t.co/Qp3iJC0hI5

Here’s the full text of her post:
When you abuse your position and betray the public trust to line your own pockets, it undermines the confidence in the government you represent. Our office, with our law enforcement partners, will root out corruption – be it bribes or illegal contracts – and hold accountable the perpetrators, no matter what title or rank they hold.
There’s that CLEAR MESSAGING again.
Justice is back in style with the Trump Administration in power, and they’re not wasting any time.
Admiral Burke was convicted after only 5 days of trial proceedings of accepting a very well paying job in exchange for his accepted bribe while still serving in the Navy as a top Commander.
The contracts which he approved in exchange for his later high-paying employment were potentially worth millions, according to Fox News:
A retired four-star admiral who once served as the Navy’s second-highest ranking officer, was convicted of bribery and other conspiracy charges, making him the most senior member of the U.S. military ever convicted of committing a federal crime while on active duty.
Following a five-day trial, retired four-star Adm. Robert P. Burke, 62, was found guilty on Monday of a scheme to direct lucrative contracts to a training company in exchange for a $500,000-a-year job after leaving the Navy, according to a news release from the Department of Justice.
“When you abuse your position and betray the public trust to line your own pockets, it undermines the confidence in the government you represent,” U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro wrote in a post on X following the conviction.
Burke, who served as vice chief of naval operations, was once the Navy’s second-highest ranking officer.
According to court documents and as the evidence proved at trial, from 2020 to 2022, Burke was a four-star admiral who oversaw U.S. naval operations in Europe, Russia, and most of Africa, and commanded thousands of civilian and military personnel.
Amazingly, the Admiral is facing SERIOUS PRISON TIME for his multiple crimes:

The conviction stems from a scheme… pic.twitter.com/7lLuMcP8KD
According to Kagan Dunlap’s post reporting the conviction, Admiral Burke is facing a WHOPPING 30 YEARS in prison!
Burke faces up to 30 years in prison, though first-time offenders typically receive lighter penalties. This case marks him as the highest-ranking U.S. military officer convicted of a crime.
Here’s a great clip with a good overview of the corruption issue that this exposes inside the infamous military-industrial complex, including what we might expect based on a PAST military bribery conviction:
The two defense contractors that took part in offering the bribe to the Admiral were also convicted for their part.
In now revealed communications, the Admiral was offered a $500,000 per year job along with a treasure trove of stock options in exchange for ensuring the defense contract was approved.
Burke’s sentencing hearing is set to happen in August.
Here are more details of the bribe that took place in 2021, according to reporting from CBS News:
Robert Burke ordered staff to award a $355,000 contract to a company, and then began working there at a $500,000-a-year job after his 2022 retirement from the Navy, the Department of Justice said.
He also unsuccessfully attempted to convince a top officer to give the firm a separate contract.
Sentencing is set for August, the same month that two co-CEOs of technology services firm Next Jump are to go on trial in a related case, the Washington Post reported.
Monday’s verdict makes Burke the most senior officer to be convicted in recent years for crimes committed while serving in the U.S. military.
Prosecutors said Burke allegedly secured a government contract for his codefendants Yongchul “Charlie” Kim and Meghan Messenger in exchange for a future job.
In April 2021, prosecutors said the trio spoke via WhatsApp. “Burke wants to work for us, but we’re asking for a deal first,” Kim allegedly said after the call, adding that Messenger “felt slimy,” the indictment revealed.
Weeks later, according to charging documents, Burke asked an unnamed individual to find funding to secure the company a contract from U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa. And in July, he allegedly met with Kim, Messenger, and another unnamed individual for lunch in Washington, D.C, during which time they discussed the admiral ensuring the company received its federal contract.
“In exchange [they] offered Burke a job at Company A – at a salary of at least $500,000 per year and a grant of 100,000 stock options…to commence after Burke retired from the Navy,” prosecutors wrote.
When former JUDGE Jeanine was announced as the new pick for US Attorney after REPUBLICANS IN CONGRESS effectively blew up Ed Martin’s chances for getting the spot…
I think a lot of people didn’t take it seriously.
After all, she’s just a talking head on a cable news network — right?
Try telling that to the corrupt Admiral Burke, while he’s spending the rest of his life in a federal prison facility.
Justice is back. We are back. Why?
Because TRUMP is back!
