Watch: Bill Maher Gives Trump Three-Word Nickname Following Shooting, Makes Bold Prediction About Election
Former President Donald Trump narrowly escaped an assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, over the weekend.
Comedian Bill Maher addressed the incident during a comedy show hours after the attack on Saturday, dubbing Trump “the luckiest motherf–ker” on Earth.
Maher acknowledged the gravity of the situation and its potential consequences for the Democratic Party while unequivocally condemning the violence.

“I so unequivocally denounced,” Maher said as he was met with crowd cheers. “I don’t care what you think about that.”
“I’m sure that there will be jokes that people will make because they hate him so much about they wished it went, you know, the way — not from me. Not from me,” Maher said.
“You know, liberals don’t shoot people. Liberals don’t solve it that way,” Maher stated, emphasizing the damage done to the left’s moral standing on political violence.
The comedian, despite his frequent criticism of Trump, expressed relief that the former president was “okay” and praised Trump’s composure during the incident.
“He’s the luckiest motherf–ker that has ever walked the face of the Earth,” Maher said followed by more crowd laughs and cheers.
“I don’t want to say the election is over, but… ” he continued as the crowd erupted with laughter yet again. “Anything can happen in an election, but Jesus Christ.”
“Yes, MAGA nation finally has its full martyr. They loved it when he went to jail. The mugshot. I gotta say, he’s insane and he’s a criminal, but that mugshot? F–king nailed it. Perfect.”
“[Trump] played this scene like he rehearsed it,” Maher remarked, noting Trump’s ability to turn even the most dire situations to his advantage.
“He gets grazed and the other guy gets shot? It’s so Trump,” Maher continued. “I can see the memes now! The man the lib-tards couldn’t kill. Biden can’t get through a debate and a bullet can’t stop Donald Trump!”
“I mean, it almost doesn’t matter who the Democrats put up now.”
In another point of the clip, Maher blasted “idiots” and “conspiracy theorists” who were promoting bogus theories that the near-assasation was staged.
Must give credit. At least @billmaher isn’t in denial. This pretty much says it all! pic.twitter.com/NLAvtWogzm

Political analysts are now scrambling to assess the impact of this event on the 2024 presidential race.
Democrats face an uphill battle in countering this surge of support with Trump’s base likely to rally around their newly minted “martyr.”
The incident has also reignited debates about political violence and the increasingly polarized nature of American politics.
Leaders from both parties have called for unity and a return to civil discourse in the wake of the attack.
The incident, which left Trump with a minor ear injury, has sent shockwaves through the political landscape and may have irreversibly altered the course of the 2024 presidential race.
The attack occurred as Trump was addressing supporters at a packed rally.
Eyewitnesses reported hearing a single gunshot before Secret Service agents quickly moved to protect the former president.
Trump managed to raise his fist in defiance despite the chaos, with blood visibly streaming down his face.
