Conservative Pundit Sparks Fury Over Trump Death Comment
Ann Coulter Faces Backlash After Suggesting That Trump Should ‘Die’ in Order To Help Save America
In a profoundly ill-considered statement by a person who is a professional speaker, political commentator Ann Coulter suggested that the best thing former President Donald Trump could do for the party was “die.”
Her comments regarding the GOP front-runner and presumptive Republican presidential nominee shocked listeners and sparked fierce pushback.
Coulter made her comment in response to a commentator who noted: “Ann Coulter has been right about Trump in the past. I’d love to hear what he needs to do, in her opinion to help us take America back.”
Coulter surprised followers by responding, “Maybe he could die?”

Coulter was a strong Trump supporter during his first presidential run in 2016, but her support waned amid impeachment proceedings and because Democratic opposition was able to keep his promised border wall from being completed.
Her vocal critique did not go unnoticed by the former president, who called her a “Wacky Nut Job” who did not understand or appreciate the intricacies of Washington politics.
Wacky Nut Job @AnnCoulter, who still hasn’t figured out that, despite all odds and an entire Democrat Party of Far Left Radicals against me (not to mention certain Republicans who are sadly unwilling to fight), I am winning on the Border. Major sections of Wall are being built…

In recent years, Coulter stepped up her attacks on Trump. Many have expressed surprise that the pundit who identifies as a conservative criticizes Trump more than President Biden.
Last Saturday, Coulter claimed that “Trump won’t close the border” and predicted that “he’ll push for amnesty.” Notably, the former president has expressed on multiple occasions that he deeply desires a closed border and plans to deport illegal immigrants if elected.
Trump won't close the border. He'll push for amnesty, allow anchor babies and sanctuary cities to continue, ban bump stocks, propose taking guns away without due process and hire half of Goldman Sacks.

The presidential election is worthless. Concentrate on the House & Senate. https://t.co/wh4N79IXyx
The Western Journal noted that Coulter’s vitriol toward Trump and belief that he is “more deserving of contempt than Biden is mind-boggling.”
