Dan Bongino: “Shocked To My Core” About What I’ve Learned
I’ve been pretty vocal about my disappointment in the way Dan Bongino has handled some things when he got into office.
I think he has top tier character and morals and ethics and I trust Dan, but I’ve been disappointed how he’s tried to “sell” us the Epstein story, when it was painfully clear from his awful body language and facial expressions that he didn’t believe a word of what he was telling us.
But I’ve also promised to cover him fairly and to reserve judgment, hoping to see the Dan Bongino we all know and love re-emerge stronger than ever.
And I think we’re seeing a glimpse of that.
Ever since the Friday Dan took off and it wasn’t clear he was going to be returning, I think a deal was cut by President Trump to essentially turn Bongino loose and let him work on something big, and I have a feeling he’s going to play prominently in the Barack Obama investigation Tulsi Gabbard has busted wide open.
I think that’s what he’s telling us here:
During my tenure here as the Deputy Director of the FBI, I have repeatedly relayed to you that things are happening that might not be immediately visible, but they are happening.

CONFIRMED: Dan Bongino Is Back At The FBI and “LOCKED IN” On Something Very Big
Dan Bongino was back at the FBI today after taking Friday off, and Benny Johnson reports not only is he back but he’s absolutely LOCKED IN on a brand new project, something very big.
This comes on the heels of other breaking reports today saying the Administration has heard all the pushback on the Epstein debacle and is making huge changes in how they handle things going forward, potentially even including a Special Counsel and more disclosures:
Just got off the phone with top federal law enforcement contact. The change in approach to Epstein has been dramatic. Expect more disclosures. Some very powerful people inside Admin are now pushing for a Special Counsel and a full press briefing on Epstein findings.

FULL TRANSCRIPT:
We have some breaking news for you on this program that I just learned about Dan Bongino and his future at the FBI. As we know, Dan has been a bit of a mentor, quite frankly. He’s always been very helpful on our show, even calling me randomly to give me pointers on certain things. He’s just been a wise advisor. He’s always been good, and he’s been solid.
He cares a lot about this country, and he has a heart of gold, and a very big heart. He’s somebody that wants to make it a better place. And the fallout from the Epstein saga, of course, caused Dan to say, “It’s gonna be really tough to return to my show, you know, to do what I love to do after all this. Uh, if it really goes south, you know, will people trust me?
Because they don’t in—they don’t trust this stuff, and we haven’t done it in the right way.” And I called a number of people with direct knowledge of this, and this was Dan’s frustration: the disclosures were not great, and the way that it was handled and the way that it was released was not great, and that he was being blamed in part for it. And so Dan didn’t show up to work and sort of gave an ultimatum to President Trump and said, “Hey, listen, uh, Pam Bondi either goes or I go.” And he and Pam Bondi had quite a bit of a blowup at the White House on Wednesday.
Dan hadn’t showed up to work since. I don’t wanna see Dan go. Neither did the American people, by the way. It’s Bongino or Bondi. He’s not staying—Who would you guys prefer, Bongino or Bondi? Bongino. They want Dan. 7,000 to zero. They want Dan. I just did some phone calls, and I found out that Dan Bongino not only is back working at the FBI, but cooler heads have prevailed here, that Dan is actually working on something very, very important. Also, everything’s changed. There is a positive mood for Dan, according to my source, after further internal movement towards Epstein disclosures and transparency.
Trump team is back together and locking in. That’s what I was told directly by my source. But this is what else I got from another source: There are some big things happening that we may not be able to see right now, but it’s been very positive. All of you in the comments section, posting on X, writing right here, letting your voice be heard in whatever way that you do that—Further sources confirm to me there’s gonna be a major change in approach to the way that this Epstein file will be handled by the administration.
Expect more disclosures. Very powerful people inside the admin are now pushing for special counsel, full press briefing on Epstein findings. Important to note that this drastic change happened after our voices were heard, but also Steve Bannon, Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, and a number of other people, Charlie Kirk, really locking in and giving some tough love to the administration over this. Uh, they were met with massive roars and applause from the 7,000 gathered and could not be ignored.
In short, our voices are being heard and the power to the people.
