Former Epstein Attorney Alan Dershowitz Announces Tragic Life News

The former defense attorney of Jeffrey Epstein,  Alan Dershowitz,  announced tragic family news today.

Dershowitz, who was a member of Epstein’s defense team in 2008 and who later was part of President Trump’s legal team during his first impeachment trial, announced his son had passed away in a post on X.

Alan Dershowitz’s son, Elon Dershowitz, died on Sunday at the age of 64.

Noted attorney Alan Dershowitz announced Monday on social media that his son Elon Dershowitz passed away at the age of 64 on Sunday.

Elon Dershowitz, a film producer who helped produce “Reversal of Fortune,” starring Glenn Close and Jeremy Irons, suffered a stroke according to family members, Newsmax reported. In addition to films, Elon Dershowitz also produced Alan Dershowitz’s podcast, “The Dershow,” and also produced sports documentaries for ESPN.

Alan Dershowitz, an emeritus law professor at Harvard University who contributes op-eds to the Daily Caller News Foundation, posted a link to the Newsmax article on X Monday announcing his son’s passing.

Elon Dershowitz began performing at a young age, doing magic shows in front of varied audiences ranging from former Democratic Sen. Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts to the Boston Celtics, according to Newsmax.

Elon Dershowitz was preceded in death by his mother, Sue, and his aunt, Marilyn, while he is survived by his father, Alan Dershowitz, his stepmother, a brother and sister, two cousins and an uncle, Newsmax reported.

Elon Dershowitz donated his organs and a funeral will be held Tuesday in New York City, according to Newsmax.

Dershowitz co-produced many other movies, including Fallen (1998) with Denzel Washington, Wall Street (1987), The Whole Truth (2016), The Advocate’s Devil (1997), and Martians Go Home (1989).

He also co-produced the ESPN TV shows Break Up the Bombers: Yankees on Trial (2004), Whose Curse is Worse (2004), and Pete Rose on Trial (2003). He also tried his hand at acting in The Girlfriend Experience (2009). At the time of his death, Dershowitz was producing The Dershow podcast.

When he was younger, Dershowitz was an amateur magician who performed under the name Elon the Pretty Good to various audiences – including the Boston Celtics and Ted Kennedy and his Senate staff – throughout the Boston area.

Many people also remember Dershowitz from his nightly performances in the popular bar area of the restaurant Legal Sea Foods.
