Trump Fires 3-Word Warning at DeSantis – Ron Had Better Be Ready for Battle
For months, Donald Trump has revealed who he is really scared of. Trump doesn’t mind if Nikki Haley or Tim Scott runs for president. There is just one candidate who might take the GOP nomination from him, Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Trump quickly turned on DeSantis when rumors grew the Florida Republican would run for president. The former president seems very insecure about how things will shift, now that this popular governor is going for the White House. And it seems Team Trump is willing to burn every last bridge, as they prepare for all-out war.
From Daily Caller:
The Trump campaign plans to unleash an “all-out assault”… Trump associates told the Daily Caller that they intended to “rip” DeSantis’ “head off,” an associate friendly with DeSantis’ campaign said he planned to do the “rope-a-dope,” a boxing term in which you allow your opponent to throw so many punches, he tires himself out.
Yikes. It appears Trump is going to abandon any semblance of party unity or respect for the country by launching an “all-out assault” on successful and winning governor, Ron DeSantis. Trump’s allies are going to “rip” his “head off,” in what could only be vicious and ugly attacks.
Ron DeSantis is one of the–if not the–most successful Republican governors in America. He won his re-election by a whopping 1 million votes. Not only that, but he is a family man, whose wife battled cancer. And Trump is going to try to “rip” his head off?
Already Trump has spewed ugly attacks against someone he should be working with.
From Mediaite:
He opened with the old chestnut of taking credit for DeSantis’s successful run for governor, a message he’s sent repeatedly…
Trump then dismissed DeSantis’s chances for winning the general election…
Trump then returned to his ALL CAPS format because he thought that was a compelling way to get his message out and not at all unhinged.
Trump fired off a round of largely unverified and ugly attacks against DeSantis, including claims that he was responsible for DeSantis’ success. Then he turned around and attacked the governor’s record. Uh… so is Trump responsible or is DeSantis a failure? You can’t have both, Don.
The former president then posted an all-caps rant that sounds like Mussolini before he was removed from power. If Trump thinks this will impress anyone but his hardcore followers, he is sorely mistaken. It seems Trump is terrified of DeSantis’s success. He can’t play fair, so he is going dirty.
But if he really thinks this is going to unite Republicans to defeat Joe Biden, he is dreaming.
Key Takeaways:
- Donald Trump vowed to “rip” Ron DeSantis’s “head off” after he entered the race.
- Trump took to his social network to spew vile and unproven attacks against the governor.
- DeSantis is the only Republican who can defeat Donald Trump in the 2024 primaries.
