More Details Have Emerge Regarding The Disappearance Of NBC News Star Savannah Guthrie’s Mother
More details have emerged regarding the disappearance of NBC News star Savannah Guthrie’s mother.
As the WLT report covered earlier in the week, Nancy Guthrie, 84, went missing from her home in Arizona on Saturday night, and so far, authorities have no leads on where she might be.
During a press conference on Monday morning, Arizona authorities reported that a possible crime may have taken place at Nancy Guthrie’s home the night she went missing.
Authorities on Tuesday further revealed that Guthrie’s pacemaker stopped syncing with her iWatch on Sunday, a day after she first disappeared.
Check out what the New York Post reported on Guthrie’s pacemaker stop syncing:
Nancy Guthrie’s pacemaker stopped syncing with her Apple devices predawn Sunday, a Tuesday report said as the search for the mother of NBC News star Savannah Guthrie reached into a third day.
The implanted medical device lost contact with the Apple products belonging to the 84-year-old grandmother around 2 a.m., a law enforcement source told Fox News.
When authorities reached her Arizona home hours later, around noon, Nancy’s phone and Apple Watch were still inside the house, the source said.
“The air and ground searches … you’ll see that slow down,” he said Tuesday morning. “Those things are going to slow down, we’re pushing more to the investigative side of this.”
The top cop said more DNA and video footage evidence is expected to come in.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has reported that as of Wednesday, they have no suspects:

The New York Post reported that Guthrie’s brother-in-law was the last person to see Guthrie’s mother:
Nancy Guthrie’s son-in-law was the last person to see her before the 84-year-old mother of NBC star Savannah Guthrie vanished.
Savannah Guthrie’s brother-in-law, Tommaso Cioni, was the last person who saw Nancy Guthrie before she vanished, authorities have said.
Cioni, who is married to Savannah’s sister Annie, dropped Nancy back at her Tucson, Arizona home on Saturday evening after the 84-year-old had dinner with the couple. He ensured she made it safely inside the house before leaving, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told the New York Times.
Nancy disappeared sometime between the dropoff at 9:45 p.m. and Sunday morning, when friends at church became concerned that she wasn’t there.
We will keep you updated on the investigation as new details surface.
