Barron Trump, the youngest scion of the Trump dynasty, has embarked on his collegiate journey at New York University’s prestigious Stern School of Business.

The 18-year-old’s arrival on campus has set tongues wagging and sparked a flurry of reactions from his new classmates.

The New York Times previously reported that president Donald Trump confirmed his son’s enrollment, boasting about Barron’s academic prowess.

“He was accepted to a lot of colleges,” the proud father revealed.

“He’s a very smart guy, and he’ll be going to Stern, the business school, which is a great school at N.Y.U.”

Stern’s reputation precedes itself, boasting alumni like Alan Greenspan and Kenneth Langone.

With an acceptance rate of just 5 percent, Barron’s admission is no small feat.

It’s not his academic credentials that have his peers buzzing, however; it’s the potential for a political metamorphosis.

Daily Mail highlighted that one classmate boldly predicted, “He’s going to NYU so if he is at all interested in girls, he’s going to become kind of liberal, I’ll tell you that.”

This sentiment highlights the perceived clash between Barron’s conservative family background and NYU’s notoriously liberal atmosphere.

Not all students are fixated on Barron’s political leanings, however. Some are more interested in his potential as a romantic prospect.

One classmate admitted, “My mom is going to want me to marry him,” hinting at the social cachet that comes with the Trump name.

Many students expressed a willingness to judge Barron on his own merits.

“I feel really bad for him, he did not choose this life,” one empathetic peer commented, adding that she felt “excited and intrigued” by the prospect of Secret Service personnel on campus.

Another student echoed this sentiment, stating, “His dad is his dad and he is his own person, so I’m not going to judge.”

She even expressed openness to friendship, quipping, “Of course, who wouldn’t want to be friends with a Trump?”

Not all reactions were positive, though.

One student firmly declared she would “absolutely not” be friends with Barron, citing concerns about privilege.

“It speaks to the privilege that a lot of the NYU kids have. I’m only here because of financial aid,” she explained, as outlined by Daily Mail.

Barron’s college choice had been kept under wraps until recently.

His father revealed that Barron could have had his pick of universities, including the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, Trump’s own alma mater.

However, Barron ultimately chose NYU for its quality and proximity to his childhood home in Trump Tower.

The former president also mentioned Barron’s plans to continue his soccer career at college, highlighting his son’s passion for the sport.

“He’s a very high aptitude child, but he’s no longer a child. He’s just passed into something beyond child-dom. He’s doing great,” Trump proudly stated.

As Barron Trump navigates this new chapter of his life, all eyes will be on how he adapts to the diverse and dynamic environment of NYU.

Will he forge his own path or follow in his father’s footsteps? Only time will tell.
