Cops Refuse To Release Body Cam Footage Of Paul Pelosi’s Arrest Because It Could Jeopardize Ongoing Investigation
The Napa County District Attorney’s Office will not release any dash or body camera footage from Paul Pelosi’s arrest for drunk driving because it could “jeopardize” the ongoing investigation.
“The Public Records Unit (PRU) has determined the Department possesses records responsive to your request,” the California Highway Patrol (CHP) told Fox News in a letter.
“However, the Napa County District Attorney’s Office has advised the release of records would jeopardize an ongoing investigation. As such, records are being withheld pursuant to Government Code section 6254 (f).”
Napa County District Attorney Allison Haley said Pelosi agreed to a court date of Aug. 3 at 8:30 a.m. but noted he hasn’t been charged yet despite causing an accident.
“The case is currently under review to decide what, if any, charges will be filed against Mr. Pelosi,” Haley said.
“This is standard protocol for any DUI case that is referred by a law enforcement agency in Napa County.”
Fox News host Jesse Watters wants to see the mugshot which is also being withheld.
Jesse said: “We have already told you the Pelosi’s are about as corrupt as families can be. And now the long arm of the law has finally come down on them – but not for what you think.
“Paul Pelosi was arrested this weekend after he blew through a stop sign and slammed his Porsche into a Jeep while Nancy was across the country.
“First of all, have you ever been to a dinner party without your significant other? Me neither. I think there’s more to the story.”
He said Paul was returning home to “the Pelosi vineyard, you know – the one valued between 5 and 25 million dollars, where they entertain all their friends and fancy Silicon Valley executives.”
Watters wanted to see the mugshot but curiously it cannot be found.
He said the sheriff “told us the jail had to release it. And then the jail said the sheriff’s office had to release it and then one of our producers was told the city council had to release it.
“And then we were directed to the county board of supervisors.
“And then when we called the vice-chair of the board, he said why would we have a mugshot?
“All I know is someone’s going through a lot of trouble to keep this mugshot hidden,” he said.
