Days After Donald Trump’s $350M Ruling – These Truckers Make the Most MAGA Move Ever
Last week, the controversial civil trial against Trump ended. The judge—who has been accused of being an anti-Trump liberal—found the former president guilty. Judge Engoron ordered Trump to pay New York $355 million and barred him (and his sons) from doing business there for three years.
The ruling was expected, but nonetheless outrageous to Trump’s supporters. The former president will no doubt appeal the ruling. This case could reach much higher courts.
Meanwhile, Trump Country is fighting back. Many Americans believe Democrats are using the courts to crippling Trump and his family. And a group of freedom-loving truckers have just sent a powerful message to New York.
From Fox News:
A group of truck drivers who support former President Trump have announced they will not be driving to New York City as a means of expressing their disappointment with the civil fraud judgment that fined Trump more than $350 million last week.“I’ve been on the radio talking to drivers for about the past hour, and I’ve talked to about 10 drivers,” Ray wrote. “I don’t know how far across the country this is or how many truckers are going to start denying loads going to New York City, but I’ll tell you what — you f— around and find out,” he said.
A group of trucker drivers are forming a boycott of New York, after the ruling from Judge Engoron. A trucker named Chicago Ray has been speaking to other truckers, deciding to not bring deliveries to the liberal state.
According to Ray, he has convinced ten truckers to join his boycott. But it is possible this number will grow. Many truckers are Trump supporters. These blue-collar Americans benefitted from Trump’s policies, which helped working Americans succeed.
Under Biden, it is likely truckers and their families have struggled. The cost of fuel along could be crippling their income; not to mention inflation that has continued to hurt American families.
What could happen if hundreds or thousands of truckers boycotted New York? The state government is liberal and helped this trial, by allowing James to push her vendetta against the former president. But it is unlikely the governor or anyone else will move to overturn the ruling.
New York could be very impacted by a trucker boycott.
