DHS Just Gave Illegals 1 Direct Order – But This “Order” Isn’t What You Think

The Biden administration has seen historically high border crossing numbers as their time in office drags on, according to accumulated statistics. They have even been “forced” to take some action to start building parts of the wall and deport undocumented migrants.

Many have questioned if these moves have been begrudgingly taken to soften the poll numbers that show Americans are unhappy with the border situation. On the other hand, others hope the administration really had a change of heart and saw how much damage the large influx of migrants has done to our country.

Well, if you were hoping for a change, there is a big change coming—one that sadly shows where this administration’s priorities apparently lie.

The Biden administration’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is instructing Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agents to ask immigrants they encounter for their “preferred pronouns” and to use gender-neutral language while on the job.

The agency goes on to demand that Customs and Border Patrol agents do not use “‘he, him,’ ‘she her’ pronouns until you have more information about, or provided by, the individual.” CBP agents are also instructed to not use words like “Mr,” “Mrs,” “sir” or “ma’am.”

So, it would appear the priority of the Mayorkas-led DHS is to get their agents to change the way they interact with incoming illegal travelers — not by turning them away or processing them according to the law, though. Rather, they want the illegals’ pronouns to be respected.

Some may think this order is just bizarre, as many migrants coming to gain the many benefits of American life probably haven’t been immersed in “woke” culture. It’s unlikely the people who are claiming asylum from their communist Central or South American country are here to have their pronouns respected.

If you told Americans 100 years ago, just a few years after the “Great War,” that border patrol was instructed to not address people as “sir” or “ma’am,” how do you think they would respond? Toto would think he wasn’t in Kansas anymore.

And many Americans today are probably dismayed that an administration would put such emphasis on pronoun usage while failing to fix the core problems at the border. It seems unlikely they will ever prioritize real solutions, meaning Americans will have to select a different leader to make it happen.
