Per Just The News:

South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham said Wednesday night that his phone has been turned over to the FBI after it was possibly hacked by someone impersonating Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Graham, who was speaking at the Hill & Valley Forum, claimed that he received a message that he believed to be from Schumer recently. But when he opened the message, it turned out to be fraudulent. The Senate’s Sergeant at Arms is investigating the hack, Graham’s office said.

“My phone is in the hands of the FBI now,” Graham said, per the Washington Times. “So I get a message, I think, from Schumer, it ain’t from Schumer, and next thing you know, my phone’s, I don’t know what. Anything you can create apparently can be hacked.”

The FBI and Schumer have not commented on the situation, but a Democratic aide noted to The Hill that Schumer uses an old flip-phone and does not text.
