Actress and activist Jane Fonda crossed the line today on The View with a shocking comment about abortion. The 85-year-old Hollywood star slammed pro-lifers and said it is important to maintain reproductive rights saying, “We’re not going back. I don’t care what the laws are. We’re not going back.”

When asked what other actions she and other activists could take in addition to protesting, Fonda didn’t miss a beat and said: “Murder.” The View co-hosts laughed and tried to save Hanoi Jane but it did not work. (See video below)

“We have experienced many decades now of having agency over our body, of being able to determine when and how many children to have, we know what that feels like, we know what that’s done for our lives,” Fonda said. “We’re not going back, I don’t care what the laws are, were not going back.”

BEHAR: “Besides marching and protesting, what else do you suggest? J

ANE FONDA: “Murder.”

LILY TOMLIN: “What did you say?”

FONDA: “Murder”

Joy Behar immediately jumped to try to save her claiming “she’s just kidding, she’s kidding, they’ll pick up on that and run with it.”

But the look on Jane’s face said it all.

Mercedes Schlapp said:

“Jane Fonda is inciting violence against pro-life politicians.

“This dangerous rhetoric is unacceptable.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene said:

“Jane Fonda (and many Democrats) want you and me “murdered” for fighting to protect the most innocent in the womb.

“Believe Democrats when they say the quiet part out loud.

“Sounds like they want us dead.”
