Judge Drops the Gavel on Fani Willis – This Ruling Could Swing the Trial in Trump’s Favor
The prosecutor behind the George indictment against Trump is in serious trouble. Fani Willis seemed to try to build her political career by attacking the former president and many of his officials–accusing them of trying to overturn the 2020 Election results.
But recently, she has faced serious allegations that she hired a romantic partner, paying him a huge salary. Reports also indicate that the partner used funds to take them both on luxurious vacations.
Hearings are underway to decide if Willis should be disqualified from the Trump case. Experts have already said Willis is “finished.” And now, the judge has issued a decision that might seal her fate.
From Daily Caller:
A Fulton County judge ruled Monday that the former law partner of Nathan Wade must testify about Wade’s relationship with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported…Robin Yeartie, a former friend of Willis, testified that her relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade began in 2019, not 2022.
The judge overseeing Willis’s case determined that Wade’s lawyer will have to testify about their relationship. Willis had claimed their relationship began in 2022 after she hired him. But witnesses claim that they had been involved as early as 2019.
Now, the man who represented Wade in his divorce proceedings will have to testify about what he knows about Willis and his relationship.
Bradley previously refused to testify, claiming his information, including texts with Wade, was protected by attorney-client privilege. The judge disagrees. Some of those communications might be presented during this hearing.
Evidence seems to point to a serious conflict of interest with Fani Willis. While quick to condemn Trump and his allies, she hired her boyfriend to work on a case. She paid him a six-figure salary, raising suspicions. And he used some of his salary to take them on trips, further raising ethics concerns.
Should this trial go against Willis, she will be removed from the Trump case. That could result in all the current prosecutors on that case being fired. It might even result in a mistrial, ending this battle against the former president.
If that happens, it will be a massive victory for Trump. He will undoubtedly use it in his other legal battles–as a reason for the other cases to be dismissed.
