Fox Star Exposes Elon as MAGA Defector Reveals X Boss’ Real Revenge Plot After Political Bromance Publicly Spirals Out of Control

The political partnership between President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk has reached a breaking point following a heated disagreement over federal spending legislation that has sent shockwaves through conservative circles.

The conflict emerged when Musk publicly criticized Trump’s spending bill, which the Tesla CEO viewed as contradictory to his cost-cutting efforts at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The billionaire’s opposition to what Trump called his “Big Beautiful Bill” marked a dramatic shift from their previously collaborative relationship.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) has defended Musk’s position, arguing that the billionaire’s political involvement has cost him financially rather than benefited him.

“Elon was never in this for EV tax credits, his dance with politicians has cost him way more money than it ever made him,” Massie revealed to Fox News star Lisa Kennedy Montgomery.

Massie suggested that traditional politicians struggle to understand Musk’s motivations because they typically enter politics for personal gain.

“So many politicians get into politics for their own personal benefit, and I think that’s why they have a hard time imagining somebody like Elon judging a bill for what’s good for his wallet instead of what’s good for the country,” the congressman said.

The Kentucky representative has been sharing Musk’s criticisms of Trump’s spending bill on social media, despite knowing he may face a Trump-backed primary challenger as a consequence of his support for the billionaire’s position.

Montgomery reported in a piece for the Daily Mail that Massie expressed hope that Musk would remain engaged in political activities, particularly in primary elections where he could support fiscally conservative candidates.

“I hope Elon stays engaged in politics,” Massie stated.

“I think he’s learning he needs to be involved in primary elections instead of the general elections, because not all Republicans are created equal.”

The congressman suggested that Musk’s financial resources could significantly impact Republican primary races, potentially supporting candidates who align with his fiscal conservative vision.

When asked about his own political ambitions, Massie dismissed speculation about a Senate run, calling it “the same circus with different clowns.”

Despite the political risks of supporting Musk over Trump, Massie maintained confidence in the billionaire’s judgment on federal spending matters.

“I’ll trust the guy who can land rockets backwards to do the math more than I trust the politicians in DC,” Massie concluded, per Montgomery.

The Fox News star noted that the tension between “mom and dad” became apparent following what observers described as a tearful televised Oval Office farewell that Musk received on Friday, which initially suggested the relationship might survive political differences.

Trump responded to Musk’s opposition during a conversation with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, expressing uncertainty about their future relationship and signaling a dramatic cooling of their once-warm alliance.

“Elon and I had a great relationship,” Trump stated. “I don’t know if we will anymore.”

The president accused Musk of opposing the legislation solely to protect electric vehicle subsidies that benefit Tesla.

The accusation struck at the heart of Musk’s public persona as a fiscal conservative, suggesting his opposition stemmed from personal financial interests rather than principled policy positions.

Musk vehemently denied Trump’s allegations and fired back with serious accusations of his own on social media platform X.

“Time to drop the really big bomb,” Musk wrote.

“@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”

The public feud has divided supporters who previously backed both men, with many struggling to reconcile the split between two prominent conservative figures who once appeared inseparable on the political stage.

Trump on Elon Musk: “You saw a man who was very happy when he stood behind the Oval desk. Even with a black eye. I said, do you want a little makeup? He said, ‘No, I don’t think so,’ which is interesting … Elon and I had a great relationship. I don’t know if we will anymore.” pic.twitter.com/I1IEo1ocuS
