Nancy Mace Shows Lewd Photo of Herself During Hearing
Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) displayed naked photos of herself during a congressional hearing on Tuesday to dramatically emphasize her ongoing campaign against privacy violations through hidden cameras.
The unusual demonstration occurred during a hearing held by the House Oversight Committee’s Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Information Technology and Government Innovation, where Mace has been advocating for stronger protections against non-consensual recordings.
Mace has been embroiled in a public dispute with South Carolina’s Republican Attorney General Alan Wilson since February over what she describes as his failure to adequately prosecute s*x offenses, particularly related to her personal case.
The controversy stems from Mace’s allegations that her ex-fiancé took video recordings of herself and other women without their consent, a criminal violation she has been pushing authorities to address more aggressively.
“Liberty begins with the right to close a door. A hidden camera kicks that door off its hinges,” Mace declared in her opening statement, which she later shared on social media platform X.
Mace emphasized constitutional protections during her impassioned testimony, stating, “The Constitution’s Fourth Amendment enshrines a ‘reasonable expectation of privacy.’ Yet today, that freedom is violated by secret cameras and hidden devices to record women and girls with impunity.”
The congresswoman continued her forceful advocacy by adding, “Freedom is not a theory; it is the right to breathe, to dress and undress, to sleep without someone’s camera filming your naked body.”
Drawing a connection to America’s founding principles, Mace noted, “The Founders wrote liberty in parchment; hidden cameras erase it in pixels.”
The hearing served as a platform for Mace to promote two legislative solutions she introduced in February: the Stop VOYEURS Act (H.R. 1203) and the Sue VOYEURS Act (H.R. 1204), both aimed at strengthening protections against non-consensual recordings.
Mace’s advocacy on this issue became personal in February when she delivered a speech accusing her former fiancé, Patrick Bryant, and three other men of illicitly filming women, with allegations that some victims were drugged and s*xually assaulted during these incidents.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has confirmed that Bryant is currently under investigation, according to local news outlet Live 5 News, though no charges have been filed as of this reporting.
The relationship between Mace and Bryant ended in late 2023, just months after the couple had announced their engagement in May 2022.
“I am living proof that even as a Member of Congress, I found myself face-to-face with the darkest corners of humanity,” Mace revealed during her February speech, describing her shock at discovering the alleged violations.
“You really think you know someone until you don’t,” she added, per the Daily Caller.
Mace detailed the timing of her discovery, saying, “In November of 2023, I accidentally uncovered some of the most heinous crimes against women imaginable. We are talking about rape, nonconsensual photos, nonconsensual videos of women and underage girls, and the premeditated, calculated exploitation of women and girls in my district.”
Mace’s twin bills aim to address these shortcomings by creating clearer federal standards for prosecution and civil remedies for victims of privacy violations involving recording devices.
Bryant has vehemently denied all allegations through a statement provided to local media outlet FIST News, saying: “I categorically deny the false and outrageous claims made by Nancy Mace. I have never raped anyone. I have never hidden cameras.”
“I have never harmed any woman. These accusations are not just false—they are malicious and deeply personal.”
See exhibit A as to why I decided to get the fuck out of politics. Stupid shit like this.

This is a security camera, Nancy Mace. This is about as innocuous as it gets.
If you want to settle scores with your cheating ex, do so not on taxpayer dime.
