Brittany Aldean Refuses To Back Down After Liberal Country Stars Attack Her for Transgender Post

A country music singer’s wife is dismissing criticism of her Instagram post expressing relief she’s “Better at Being Who I Am.”

Country music artist Jason Aldean’s wife, Brittany, was criticized by a number of musicians and social media influencers. They objected to the caption above her August 24 makeup video they claim infers she is transphobic.

“I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase,” Brittany Aldean commented. “I love this girly life.” The post has received 162,000 likes in the four days it has been on her verified account.

Cassadee Pope, 33, is an American singer of both punk and country music. The former lead singer of “Hey Monday” panned Aldean for not being more inclusive.

“You’d think celebs with beauty brands would see the positives in including LGBTQ+ people in their messaging,” Pope remarked in a Friday Twitter post. “But instead here we are, hearing someone compare their ‘tomboy phase’ to someone wanting to transition. Real nice.”

Another singer, Joy Oladokun, posted a selfie where half her face is visible as she holds up a peace sign. White text in a black quote bubble throws Aldean’s quote back at her.

“Waking up happy that my parents didn’t raise me to be as rude and nasty as @brittanyaldean,” stated Oladokun, who identifies as LGBTQ, according to her Wikipedia biography.

She wasn’t done. Her tweet caption: “I also would like to say the LGBTQs have clearer skin without whatever she pushin.’”

“It’s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human,” commented 32-year-old country singer Maren Morris. “Sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie.” Her comment was a caption to her retweet of Oladokun’s original post.

Conservative commentator Candace Owens is a friend of Brittany Aldean, according to a People report. She jumped into the fray to have her friend’s six.

“It’s easier to not castrate your children,” Owens responded to Morris’ tweet. “But I guess whatever helps sell bad records.”

Quicker than you could say “cat fight,” Morris fired back at Owens.

“Oh my god, not you,” Morris exclaimed. “My Grammy is positively sobbing right now. Also, why do y’all always go to ‘castration’ and ‘pedophiles’ to try and shut an argument down? It’s honestly concerning and worth looking into.”

Aldean refused to knuckle under to woke pressure tactics and responded with a lengthy Instagram post addressed to Pope, according to a Daily Wire report.

“Advocating for the genital mutilation of children under the disguise of love and calling it ‘gender affirming care’ is one of the worst evils,” she began. “I will always support my children and do what I can to protect their innocence.”

“Some parents want to be accepted by society so badly, that they’re willing to make life-altering decisions for their children who aren’t old enough to fully comprehend the consequences of those actions,” Aldean added. “Love is protecting your child until they are mature enough as an adult to make their own life decisions.”

“Thankful my parents allowed me to go through my tomboy phase without changing my gender,” she closed, using the phrase that sparked the drama. “Until then, leave children alone!”
