The high number of Americans struggling to make ends meet appears to confirm polling that shows only 14 percent of voters believe Biden’s economic policies have helped them, while 85 percent think they have either hurt them or made no difference.

A new poll reveals that 62% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, up from 58% in March. That includes 40% of Americans who have “super-prime credit scores.”

And 57% of consumers who own credit cards are living paycheck to paycheck. This means more and more Americans are unable to build wealth under President Biden. Their savings have all but evaporated in the wake of inflation, rising energy costs, and sagging wages.

Biden has claimed his “Bidenomics” have saved the economy. But it is unclear what the president actually did to help. He signed several massive spending bills in the first few years of his presidency. But experts explain that increased government spending does little to help working Americans.

His so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” was criticized by members of his own party for doing nothing to address inflation. Critics point out that Biden’s energy policies have hurt American energy production. And his refusal to close the Southern border is impacting the jobs market.

It is no surprise that 85% of Americans think Biden’s economic moves have hurt them. Despite the spin from the White House, the hard facts cannot be ignored.
