Elon Drops Election Day Eve Bombshell on Joe Rogan
Elon Musk Warns ‘There’s no Way’ X Would Exist Under Harris Admin During Election Day Eve Joe Rogan Interview
Tech billionaire Elon Musk issued a stark warning about the future of his social media platform X during a recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.
The mega Trump supporter claimed that a potential Kamala Harris administration would lead to the platform’s shutdown.

They are all backing Trump.
He expressed concerns about potential government intervention under different political leadership scenarios.
“There’s no way that the sort of Kamala public regime would allow X to exist,” Musk stated, suggesting that current platform boycotts would intensify under a Harris administration.
“If Trump wins, we’ll see, you know, probably a lot — most of the boycott lift, but if Kamala wins, we’ll see that boycott gets stronger and they’ll friggin shut it down.”
When pressed by Rogan about the mechanics of such a shutdown, Musk pointed to what he views as selective enforcement of hate speech and misinformation policies.
He cited ongoing legal challenges to his other ventures as evidence of potential government pressure, specifically mentioning a Department of Justice investigation into SpaceX’s hiring practices regarding asylum seekers.
The X owner, who described himself as a former leftist, claimed his political views shifted approximately three years ago.
“It’s not the left anymore,” Musk explained, criticizing what he perceives as current left-wing positions on personal freedom and merit-based systems.
During the discussion, Musk also addressed the controversial de-platforming of President Donald Trump following the January 6 Capitol events.
He defended Trump’s social media posts during that period, stating, “Trump was posting ‘do not riot, don’t do any destruction of property, you know. Please stay calm.’ Like, that’s the kind of stuff he was posting.”
The tech entrepreneur expressed frustration with interpretations of Trump’s messages as potential “dog whistles,” questioning the logic behind such assertions.
“Okay, so we’ll give you Trump’s account. Now you post what you think he should post, because he can post nothing, he can ask people to calm down. Like, what? It was insane,” Musk said.
The conversation also touched on Musk’s criticisms of Democratic Party messaging strategies.
He specifically referenced what he termed “hoaxes,” including recent claims about Trump’s statements regarding former Representative Liz Cheney and interpretations of previous remarks about “fine people.”
Musk accused Democratic strategists of deliberately taking partial statements out of context, claiming they “take, like, not even a full sentence, like half a sentence, and then they’ll push it on every ad” and “every speaking event.”
The interview, released ahead of Tuesday’s election, highlights growing tensions between tech platforms and government oversight, while raising questions about the future of social media regulation under different political administrations.
Rogan himself also made headlines after officially endorsing Trump.
“The great and powerful [Musk]. If it wasn’t for him we’d be f*****,” Rogan said.
“He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way. For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump,” the podcaster continued.
