Adam Schiff Makes Major Career Announcement After Getting Booted From Intel Committee, Will Run For US Senate

Dem Rep Adam Schiff made a major career announcement after getting booted from the Intel Committee by Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Schiff said he will run for Diane Feinstein’s Senate seat joining a crowded field.

Schiff said:  “Today’s Republican Party is gutting the middle class. Threatening our democracy. They aren’t going to stop. We have to stop them. That’s why I’m running for the U.S. Senate. The struggle isn’t over. Not for me, not for you, not for our country. Together we can and will win this fight.”

“Our democracy is at great risk. Because GOP leaders care more about power than anything else. And because our economy isn’t working for millions of hard working Americans. We’re in the fight of our lives—a fight I’m ready to lead as California’s next U.S. Senator.”

Rep. Katie Porter announced earlier this month that will run for the seat.

Rep. Barbara Lee will also run.

As a white man running in a woke state against a woman and a woman of color, something tells me Adam Schiff will regret many of his woke slogans.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo put more pressure on Adam when he accused Schiff of leaking classified documents on Fox News yesterday.

Pompeo said: “It’s a complicated process, right? It’s difficult to pin down precisely what happened. But I could tell you that when we provided information to him and to his staff, it ended up in places it shouldn’t have been with alarming regularity.

“We could see it. In the end, I decided, I held back information from them as a result. Adam Schiff lied to the American people, and during my time as CIA director and secretary of State, I know that he leaked classified information that had been provided to him.

“I watched the House Intelligence Committee under the leadership of Adam Schiff.

“I watched him denigrate and lower its ability to actually perform its function. 

“When he was out talking about the Russia hoax, going on to say that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation, knowing that it almost certainly was not.”

Lauren French, a spokesperson for Schiff denied the charges saying:

“This is another patently false and defamatory statement from Mike Pompeo.

“While we understand that Adam Schiff is a favorite target for the failed lackeys of the Trump administration running for president, reputable news outlets shouldn’t repeat these falsehoods.”

Schiff denied leaking classified information multiple times.

He said in 2020:

“I haven’t.

“My staff hasn’t.

“I can’t speak for what all the members of the committee have done or not done, including a lot of the Republican members.”
