Alvin Bragg’s Top Prosecutor In Trump Trial LIES To Jury In Opening Statements

SHARE

Today, jurors heard opening statements in Donald Trump’s ‘hush money’ trial from the prosecution and Trump’s attorneys.

The trial stems from the allegation that Trump paid Stephanie Clifford, a porn star that goes by the moniker Stormy Daniels, to keep quiet about their alleged affair and stop the National Inquirer from running a story about it.

Trump has repeatedly denied the affair occurred.

While addressing jury members, prosecutor Mathew Colangelo lied to jurors by stating that Trump “orchestrated a criminal scheme to corrupt the 2016 presidential election” by paying Clifford.

Colangelo, Alvin Bragg’s top prosecutor, is reportedly a former Biden appointee of the Justice Department.

The Biden administration continues to claim this is not a politically motivated attack against Trump.

But is anyone buying that anymore?

There are also reports that he is a left-wing activist and has been for years.

Trump’s defense claims the case is baseless and should have never been presented in the first place.

There may be a way to stop the Biden admins’ show trials, but it’s a doozy.

The AP had more on Colangleo’s false and purposely misleading statements:

Donald Trump tried to illegally influence the 2016 presidential election by preventing damaging stories about his personal life from becoming public, a prosecutor told jurors Monday at the start of the former president’s historic hush money trial.

“This was a planned, long-running conspiracy to influence the 2016 election, to help Donald Trump get elected through illegal expenditures to silence people who had something bad to say about his behavior,” prosecutor Matthew Colangelo said. “It was election fraud, pure and simple.”

A defense lawyer countered by assailing the case as baseless and attacking the integrity of the onetime Trump confidant who’s now the government’s star witness.
