John Roberts Faces Backlash Over Ties to Ex-Obama Official Who Targeted Trump: Report

In a bombshell new revelation, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts faces backlash over his previously unknown ties to Norm Eisen, an ex-Obama administration official known for legally targeting President Donald Trump.

Revolver News reported that Roberts and Eisen allegedly spent a week together in the Czech Republic.

During their said time together, the pair reportedly discussed issues relating to the “American rule of law.”

The outlet stated that Eisen hosted Roberts at his 150-room estate in the country.

“Norm was so proud of this that he actually bragged about the trip and made it very clear that Roberts isn’t corrupt—he’s just a ‘close friend’ who happened to fly overseas and stay at Eisen’s posh 150-room palace to collaborate on transatlantic political projects,” Revolver News wrote.

The outlet claimed that Roberts’ meeting with Eisen constituted a “massive conflict of interest.”

“As it stands now, Justice Roberts has no business presiding over any of the cases that Eisen and his army of lawfare activists are funneling through the courts, and we all know Norm is tied to so many of these weaponized cases. He should have been recusing himself from the get-go—and probably outright resigning—for the integrity of the court,” Revolver News stated.

Foundation for Freedom executive director Mike Benz revealed the news on X.

“Chief Justice John Roberts spent a week living at Norm Eisen’s 150-room palace in the Czech Republic where they ‘worked on American and European Rule of Law issues together.’ Eisen was Ambassador 2011-2014. Roberts became Chief Justice in 2005. This was while Roberts ran SCOTUS,” he said while quoting Eisen.

“I know the chief justice well. He stayed when I was ambassador, stayed under my roof,” Eisen said, referring to Roberts.

“He came and spent a week with us. We worked on American and European rule of law issues together,” he added.

As Benz said, the pair worked on law issues relating to the U.S. and Europe.

“I want to know what exact issues they worked on. What American and European rule of law issues did Norm Eisen and John Roberts… work on for a week?” Benz asked.

As Trending Politics reported, Eisen was appointed to a key White House role in 2009 by then-President Barack Obama. He was named special counsel for ethics and government reform on Inauguration Day at the time.

Eisen was known for his stance on government integrity, which gave him the nickname: “Dr. No.” He also played a key role in the impeachment efforts against Trump.

“Eisen is a legal figure long associated with what critics label ‘lawfare’ — the use of legal strategies to achieve political ends. He has been deeply involved in the impeachment efforts against Trump, played a key role in the Transition Integrity Project, and authored strategies for ‘color revolutions’ in both foreign and domestic contexts,” Trending Politics reported.

The revelation comes after Roberts subtly criticized Trump over his calls to impeach local judges impeding on his agenda.

“For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision,” Roberts said. “The normal appellate review process exists for that purpose.”

Roberts’ statement came after Trump issued a scathing rebuke of U.S. District Judge James Boasberg for blocking his administration from implementing the Alien Enemies Act of 1798.

“HE DIDN’T WIN ANYTHING! I WON FOR MANY REASONS, IN AN OVERWHELMING MANDATE, BUT FIGHTING ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION MAY HAVE BEEN THE NUMBER ONE REASON FOR THIS HISTORIC VICTORY,” Trump said on Truth Social, referring to Boasberg.

“I’m just doing what the VOTERS wanted me to do. This judge, like many of the Crooked Judges’ I am forced to appear before, should be IMPEACHED!!!” he added.
