Trump Unveils Major Decision After Controversial Meeting
Trump Fires National Security Officials After Meeting With Laura Loomer
President Donald Trump has fired several national security officials following an Oval Office meeting with controversial right-wing commentator Laura Loomer.
Interestingly, the decision came after Loomer reportedly presented Trump with a list of officials who should face termination for allegedly undermining the president’s “America First” policy agenda.

The Trump-Loomer meeting lasted approximately 30 minutes, per Trending Politics.
The firings were reported first by the New York Times.
Among the national security officials fired include senior director for intelligence Brian Walsh, senior director for international organizations Maggie Dougherty and senior director for legislative affairs Thomas Boodry.
In a statement to ABC News, Loomer said she would not reveal any details about her meeting with the president.
“Out of respect for President Trump and the privacy of the Oval Office, I’m going to decline on divulging any details about my Oval Office meeting with President Trump. It was an honor to meet with President Trump and present him with my research findings,” she said.
“I will continue reiterating the importance of strong vetting, for the sake of protecting the President and our national security,” she added.
“I will continue working hard to support his agenda, and I will continue reiterating the importance of, and the necessity of STRONG VETTING, for the sake of protecting the President of the United States of America, and our national security,” she went on.
I woke up this morning to learn that there are still people in and around the West Wing who are LEAKING to the hostile, left-wing media about President Trump’s *confidential* and *private* meetings in the Oval Office. I want to reiterate how important it is that people who gain…

Trending Politics pointed out that those present at the meeting were Vice President J.D. Vance, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, chief of staff Susie Wiles, personnel chief Sergio Gor and Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA).
National Security Adviser Michael Waltz was not fired, however, he did show up late to the meeting and defended his staff.
Loomer reportedly sat in front of Trump in the Oval Office while holding a stack of documents.
As Trending Politics noted, Loomer was the GOP nominee for Florida’s 21st congressional district in 2011 but ultimately lost to incumbent Democrat Lois Frankel.
In 2022, the conservative activist sought a congressional run for Florida’s 11th district, but she lost to incumbent Daniel Webster.
National Security council spokesman Brian Hughes was asked about the recent firings, to which he replied, “NSC doesn’t comment on personnel matters.”
In the past, the president has praised Loomer’s aggressive tactics.
During an event at Mar-a-Lago, Trump said, “You don’t want to be Loomered… That’s the end of your career in a sense.”
In an interview with Steven Crowder, Loomer said she has a “binder of receipts” showing the loyal and disloyal officials in government.
“I literally have a binder of receipts. I know who’s loyal and who is disloyal,” Loomer told Crowder.
