Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell called out the Black Lives Matter Louisville chapter for helping pay the six-figure bail of a man charged with the attempted murder of a Dem mayoral candidate. Mitch said the guy “tried to literally murder a politician” yet he is back on the streets.
Mitch said: “This far-left Black Lives Matter activist and defund-the-police cheerleader walked into a Jewish Democrat’s campaign headquarters and opened fire. But guess what, he’s already been let out of jail. He’s already been let out of jail!
“A left-wing bail fund partnered with BLM Louisville to bail him out. Less than 48 hours after this activist tried to literally murder a politician, the radical left bailed their comrade out of jail.
“I’m confident that if activists claiming to be conservative tried to assassinate a politician, whatever his mental state, the media would open a 24/7 national conversation about rhetoric on the right,” McConnell said.

A Louisville bail fund organization has posted bail for a man charged with the attempted murder of a mayoral candidate.
The Louisville Community Bail Fund, supported by Black Lives Matter Louisville, paid the $100,000 bond set for Quintez Brown Wednesday afternoon.
Brown left Metro Corrections Wednesday evening hours after his bail was paid.
“Quintez Brown’s bond and release have been decided independently by a judge. Mr. Brown will be monitored by the Department of Corrections, consistent with Home Incarceration Program rules and regulations and any conditions set forth in the court order, including use of a GPS monitoring device and home checks. Alerts will notify HIP personnel if the device is tampered with or goes outside the geofence.”
