President Biden Just Suffered a Major D.C. Loss – Homeland Security Officially Terminates Joe’s Disinformation Board
The media might deny it, but nobody believes Biden’s administration has been a success. In fact, Americans have been shocked by the lengths Joe has gone to clamp down on our liberties.
We remember the mandates, the restrictions, and the shocking attempt to silence free speech. But today, one of those schemes officially dies.
From DHS:
“In accordance with the HSAC’s prior recommendation, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas has terminated the Disinformation Governance Board and rescinded its charter effective today, August 24, 2022.”
Today, the Biden administration’s infamous “Disinformation Governance Board” officially dies.
The ill-conceived board was sold as a way of “countering disinformation that threatens the homeland.”
That raised many Americans’ concerns, even Democrats, who viewed this as an obvious attempt at silencing our Free Speech rights.
Made worse was the fact that a civilian was put in charge of this board, a liberal journalist who was none to spread disinformation herself.
Because of public backlash, the DHS had no choice but to shut down this board. Today’s notice official closes a very dark chapter of Biden’s administration.
But don’t be fooled. If they aren’t publicly trying to control “disinformation” they’ll try it secretly.
We know that major social networks have voluntarily censored content that flies in the face of the left’s agenda.
Everyone’s seen those messages from YouTube and others warning about the content you are about to see.
Most of the time, it is content that contradicts one of the left’s narratives.
It’s no stretch to say that Biden’s administration will continue to look for ways to suppress speech that could hurt its agenda.
Especially as we get to the midterms.
The only solution? Refuse to silence ourselves, despite what Biden tries to do.
Key Takeaways:
- Biden’s DHS officially terminates the Disinformation Governance Board.
- Most Americans decried this board as an attempt to silence Free Speech.
