Kate Middleton’s health has reportedly taken a positive turn in her battle with cancer, with sources indicating that she is responding well to treatment and showing signs of improvement since revealing her diagnosis on March 22.
According to Vanity Fair, a close source to the Princess of Wales dismissed speculations that Middleton would abstain from royal duties for the entire year, asserting that she is actually progressing well with her cancer treatments.
“It has been a great relief that she is tolerating the medication and is actually doing a lot better,” a family friend informed the outlet.

“It has, of course, been a very challenging and worrying time. Everyone has rallied around her—William, her parents, and her sister and brother,” it added.
Regarding her return to public engagements, a well-placed source emphasized to the outlet that there is no fixed timeline and no sense of urgency.
“It will be when Catherine feels ready and when she gets the green light from her medical team,” the source elaborated. “But she will 100% be coming back to work, of that there is no question.”
In a heartfelt video shared in March, Princess Kate candidly discussed her recent health journey, revealing that what was initially perceived as a non-cancerous situation led to the discovery of cancer during post-operative tests following major abdominal surgery in January.
“It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family,” Middleton shared in the video. “But I’ve had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful.”
“I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal in my mind, body and spirits,” she added in the video.
“Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance, too, as is the love support and kindness that has been shown by so many of you. It means so much to us both.”
Middleton expressed gratitude for the support she and Prince William have received while navigating this challenging period privately for the sake of their young family.
She acknowledged undergoing preventative chemotherapy and affirmed her determination to confront the situation with resilience and positivity.
“Obviously, William feels that Kate is on the mend now, and he has been very relaxed leaving London and seen in Cornwall,” royal expert Ian Pelham told Fox News following the March video update.
Recent reports by The Daily Mail indicate that Middleton was briefed on a significant report concerning childhood early development and an associated business task force. A senior royal aide highlighted Middleton’s dedication to public service, particularly her involvement in the business task force.
“The Princess of Wales was the driving force behind the business task force,” the aide disclosed. “She has been kept up to date since the inception of the task force, and she has read the report and been briefed on it.”
The ongoing updates have been closely followed by the mother of three to Prince George, 10, Prince Louis, 6, and Princess Charlotte, 9.
