After Anti-Israel Protesters Explode in U.S. – They Get Rocked by 1 Historic Response
Soon after the October 7th Hamas attack, pro-Palestinian forces began to protest Israel. Progressives across the U.S. staged rallies, protests, and marches aimed at criticizing the Jewish state.
Americans expressed outrage that college students, professors, immigrants, and others demonstrated in favor of a group trying to destroy the nation of Israel.
In response, the Jewish Federations of North America and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations planned a “March for Israel” in D.C. And the event defied expectations.
From Breitbart:
Tuesday’s “March for Israel” on the National Mall in Washington, DC, reached an estimated total of 290,000 participants — three times what organizers had expected and the largest pro-Israel gathering in U.S. history…The speakers were bipartisan, and came from all walks of life. There were politicians — the entire Democratic and Republican leadership of Congress; Hollywood celebrities; religious leaders, and Israeli musicians speaking and singing in Hebrew.
This week’s March for Israel dwarfed similar events in favor of Palestine. An estimated 290,000 Americans traveled to Washington to show support for Israel and the Jewish people. According to reports, flights to the city were sold out.
Jewish communities chartered buses for people from other cities–which rant out of seats.
The event was attended by all of the Democratic and Republican leadership of Congress. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson spoke before the massive crowd, as did liberal figures like CNN’s Van Jones.
Noticeably missing from the huge event was any member of the Biden administration.
This event was largely in response to growing anti-Semitism in the United States. Jewish homes and synagogues have been vandalized as a rise in violence against Jewish people is being felt around the world.
Progressive Democrats have been speaking out against Israel, accusing it of “oppressing” the Palestinian people. Far-left activists have gone as far as to defend the actions of terror group Hamas, who killed nearly 1,400 Israelis on October 7th.
This March for Israel will be seen as a powerful sign of support for the Jewish people. The tremendous response should encourage Americans that our country is not on the side of terror groups or killers.
And it might discourage the White House from turning on Israel.
